LMS Angel - Rosa Snelling

Picture
My mum fought for 2 years. She was the most amazing mum who gave absolutely anything for myself and my younger brother. She was always putting herself first and wanting to make sure that us kids were ok. She went through operations, chemo, radiation and other painful procedures that were awful to watch. She wanted to do everything possible in order to stay with us, but no matter what we did, it just didn't work. She originally was diagnosed with a uterine leiomyosarcoma which was removed in March 2010, but by October of that year, she had lung mets. She had more chemo to control the growth, but in September, the cancer returned to her pelvis and grew so quickly that she wasn't able to eat or really move at all. Radiation provided some relief, but not much. In December 2011, on boxing day she went into hospital with a Staph infection that had started in her PICC line. She deteriorated and became confused, disorientated and not her normal self. On the morning of Wednesday the 4th January, 2012, my beautiful mum said goodbye. I miss her every second or every day.
