My mom lost her battle in march. She was diagnosed in December of 2006 and you wouldn't believe the pain she has been through due to the rapid tumor growth and radiation side effects. She lost use of her left arm, couldn't eat or swallow for the last 6 months of her life, pain in her nerves literally 24/7, surgeries on the spine and neck etc. etc. she was the strongest person l have known throughout the whole ordeal. Her viewing had over 1,000 people. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew even through her treatments. The support we received was amazing. If you don't have leiomyosarcoma wristbands, you should get them! I wear one in memory of my mom along with live-strong and breast and other cancers.
