Below is a poem written by Diane's granddaughter Natalie

Grandma Diane
Written with love by Natalie Louise

She was the most beautiful woman I knew.
With high energy & spirit she could always lighten the mood.
She loved warm baths & of course Charlie Brown & I don't think I ever saw her front,
her crazy concoctions she said it was "food"
And her special scent could always light a room.
She ironed everything her creases just right.
She'd always sing to me... it wasn't always that good, I never told her 'cuz she thought she could.
She loved Justin Timberlake, he's not that good, but she thought he was great.
She loved entertainment tonight, people magazines, and channel 12 news
Papa didn't know why but he gave her the remote and let her choose
Her skin was perfect & her house was always neat.
She loved her flip flops on her cute little feet.
Coffee was her dipping source for everything she'd eat.
She always had us over for pizza, hotdogs, Mac & Cheese.
She loved her daughters to come over late at night for tea.
Max said she made the best noodles just like her mom made the best bread,
I think she practiced at night because Papa said she never went to bed.
Her daughters & her sisters were her very best friends & they were up until the very end.
She just loved the city she thought it was very pretty
The sound of the ocean was her favorite thing to hear.
She always loved her family always to be very near.

The love for her family oh I don't know where to start.
First off her pets had a very special place in her heart.
She loved her girls to the sky & back,
but sometimes I think she loved her 11 grandkids more than that.
Her husband Paul was everything she'd ever need,
they loved each other more than anything I'd ever seen.
My grandma was amazing if you didn't know
She loved everyone with her heart & her soul.
If you didn't know her that's a shame but you'll meet her beautiful face someday.
We'll miss your loving heart and gentle soul, your tons of kissed, and hands to hold.
Although we can't see you we know you're still here.
Because there is a little bit of her in all of us & that is so clear.
So she can't be gone she'll stay if you let her in your hearts forever & on.
We all love you grandma to the sky & back & as big as the world.
