D Jane Moulds
Survivor, Treasurer, Finance Committee Chair
I was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. I moved to northern Michigan in 1970 and to southern Alabama in 1998. My work background has always been accounts and payable or receivable. I have worked for an Underground Construction Co. United Parcel, Simmons Beautyrest and Alden State Bank. I worked for the bank for 20 years, until I moved to Alabama. I started as a teller, I did collections, and I ran the credit and debit department. I was in charge of the credit/debit department when I left.
You can read my LMS History on the Survivors member page. I moved to Alabama in April 1998 and was diagnosed with LMS in May of 1999. It has been a roller coaster ride. I am thrilled to be a board member of the National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation, in hopes of being able to help others who are less fortunate than I. Since my surgery I have not had a re-occurrence.
My family consist of my husband, Doug, my daughters Laurie, in Michigan, and Cindy in Florida and my son Ryan in Alabama with me. I have four granddaughters and two great granddaughters ages 2 1/2 and 3 1/2.
I am the new treasurer and will be putting all of the foundation books into the computer. We now have a finance committee consisting of five directors, that will all work together to help make the foundation run smoother and more efficiently.
